Royal North of Ireland YC – Belfast

The Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club is one of the most prominent Sailing Clubs in Northern Ireland. The Club has attractive premises in Cultra, the buildings have been extended and adapted over the years to provide the facilities required for all the Club’s activities.
We are situated on the shores of Belfast Lough in Cultra, a pleasant scenic walk from the town of Holywood. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome to visiting sailors, members and their guests.

Whether it is a post-sailing drink in our bar, or a meal in our dining room or any one of our function rooms, we are confident that you will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and splendid views over Belfast Lough, in particular the spectacular sunsets.

The active Squib fleet enjoys a long racing season and welcomes new members of all abilities with support both on the water and ashore. The club also regularly hosts Squib championship events and a number of Squib crews travel to other clubs events to compete with considerable success.
