The Waldringfield SC Cartoon open meeting is the end of summer highlight here as we race for a Giles Cartoon. Saturday was summery, no wind in the morning and
thus only 2 races after lunch. Lovely sailing.
Autumn arrived with a bang on Sunday. Gusts of 28mph. Exciting and really enjoyable racing. However by the last race there were only 3 Squibs on the starting line.
At the final count, regular visitors from Felixtowe Ferry, Andy and Pete won in Squib 889, closely pushed by Patrick and Mike in 797.
The battle of the locals was won by Barry and Susanne in 468, Ricky and Gill 745 next, followed by Will & Trish, Pete & Jen, David & Steve, John & Mo.
